Match report A great start to the League season. With the controversy surrounding the last fixture in the previous season between the two sides behind them, it was great to see that the Harold Wood side showing an air of professionalism in there approach to this game. After winning the toss, new 1st team captain Richard Brabner elected to field. Some tight bowling by Richard Brabner and Shazad Hafeez and very good leg side bowling by Kevin Gibson using the fast hand skills of returning overseas player Sri Malagapany, Wood were able to skittle the oppo out for a low score. In reply sound knocks by Raheel Mirza and David "The Vicar" Hollingsworth saw the Wood home with 8 wickets to spare.
