Match report Wood played Sheering in their only game on Sunday, and openers Peter Clarke (88) and Dave Hollingsworth (67) put on 155 for the first wicket. Wood decided to declare on 189 -5 as attempted big hitting from the lower order meant a tumble of wickets. Things seemed to be going well for the Wood in the field as wickets tumbled Bonner taking (2-28) and skipper Brad Ayling once more bringing himself on at the exact right time and taking 3-10, Jaime Goldstein also impressed with 2-22. However Sheering managed to block out the last 15 overs to crawl to 92 for 9 and save the draw.
