Match report A shocking loss. Lost the toss, put into bat and we were bowled out in the 8th over for 62. 3 run outs again destroying our batting efforts. Perhaps Pete's run out was the most interesting, where he survived the initial throw at the stumps, only for the guy backing up to pick up the ball and run him out on the 2nd attempt.
Defending 62, we were going to need a super effort with the ball and in the field. We got the effort from the bowlers, Brabs picking up 2, Gaf and myself 1 each and a run out contributed for 5 of there wickets. But several missed run out chances and 2 crucial dropped catches proved costly and so the opposition sneaked home with one wicket to spare.
