We Are Ready To Return - Can You Play?
Good afternoon,
Many of you will have seen the news that recreational cricket can return on July 11th.

We Are Ready
Although we are still awaiting the final ECB advice on returning I want to assure members that Harold Wood CC is ready to start matches.
I was at the club today with a few other volunteers and the covers are ready, the ditch is fenced off, the boundary is marked and most importantly we have strips cut and rolled.
Your Availability
We now want to know when you can play - at the moment we are expecting there to be some form of league cricket resuming on July 18th.
So next Saturday July 11th we want to host an inter-club match - or two if we can get the availability - this is for all members who can play adult cricket (aged 13 and above).
We will also attempt to organise something similar on Sunday July 12th.

The return of cricket will be different to what we are used to.

Future Fixtures
We are currently looking at organising fixtures for all teams at the club, this includes the Academy, Warriors and Ladies 1st XI.
The league set-up will be finalised this week - again I will pass over details when I can.
Net Bookings
With matches now starting to be organised this will have an effect on the nets and the current club booking system. We are finalising changes at the moment and will send out more information in due course.
