Charity Fundraiser Triathlon and Duathlon

Friday 2nd September

We are organising for people to be able to complete a Triathlon and/or Duathlon with help from a local Leisure centre. This is a chance to challenge yourself and raise vital funds for the club's Academy and Disability section.

You get to choose your distance and challenge - the more people we can get to do this the more we will be able to raise.

Last Man Stands

Last Man Stands games take place in the park each week from now on. We have vacancies for captaincy and players  of The Wood team.

Plus there is also an opportunity to umpire the games and get paid to do so.

Player(s) of the Day

Following a wet weekend a fortnight ago two players were awarded Player of the Day last week.

Ross Wooding scored 80 for the 5th XI and Stu Connor helped the 2nd XI to victory over Loughton with a classy 65*

New Nets and Artificial Pitch

You will notice some building work taking place at the club if you are down the club this weekend, new nets and a new artificial pitch have started to be constructed. These have been delayed slightly due to the dreadful weather this week. Please understand that this disruption will be soon over and the new facilities will be open for use of all members.
