Match report 2nd versus 3rd, promised to be a good game. After loosing the toss, Wood were asked to field. A very good bowling spell by Hitesh Sharma, taking 3 wickets and another fine spell by Faisal Iqbal, restricted Leigh to 204 for 7. It should have been much less, but Matt Sewell had left his mojo at home this week and was not at his best because of it. In reply, Peter Clark and Don, got us off to a good start, Peter hitting 51 and Don 48 in an opening partnership of 77. A fine 48 not out by Murad Umerji saw us past the finishing post and another fine victory.
