Match report A nice start for the Wood 2nd eleven. New boys Darren Browne and Faisal Iqbal made a good start to their Wood career. Darren impressing with both, bat and ball. On a damp wicket, he bowled with a lively pace. Faisal, had the opposition batsman wondering what way the ball was going to turn next. A fine display of off spin bowling. A fine fielding display by all. On the batting front, some early season rustiness was apparent, though Craig Sampson, including his groin strain, rolled back the years to demonstrate that he has not lost any of his batting talents.
