Match report Having lost the toss we were put into the field. Wanstead racked up a formidable 174 for the loss of NO WICKETS. A combination of too many wides and some sloppy fielding contributing to their score, though they batted very senisbly.
Our attempted chase started off brisky, with Raihan retired followed shortly by Craig. Chris at 3 scored a brisk 24 and was unluckily run out. The first wicket to fall. Abdul retired on 25 too. And with 4 overs to go, we needed 16 an over to win with 5 wickets in hand. However, in the attempt of keeping up with the scoring rate, we lost 4 wickets to run outs and fell short by 43 runs though with 2 overs to spare.
A valiant effort though not having batted the entire overs we fell short.
